Gasoline Powered Leaf Blowers Daily Fuel Spew
. . . Actually there is no harmful effect of the fumes,
and numerous tests have been made on that account . . .
General Motors Spokesman, on the formation of National City Bus Lines

Every day of the year, more than three million gasoline-powered leaf blowers in California spew more than one-and-a-half million gallons of raw unburned two-stroke fuel into your California air at two hundred miles per hour.

That is more than five-hundred-and-forty million gallons of raw unburned two-stroke fuel every year.

Any fixed-source/fixed location industry polluting on such a scale would be shut down by regulators.

Unburned Fuel Emissions

The spewed fuel pollution will get much much worse if you do not vote to stop it now!

At current growth rates, there will be more than six million gasoline-powered leaf blowers in California by year 2016. Those gasoline-powered leaf blowers will then be spewing more than three million gallons of raw unburned two-stroke fuel into your California air at two hundred miles per hour every day of the year.

That will be more than one billion gallons of raw unburned two-stroke fuel spewed into your California air every year.

All that spewed fuel blasted into the air at two hundred miles per hour must go somewhere. It does not simply disappear into another dimension. The two hundred miles per hour air blast creates a fine aerosol and that comes down onto every surface, where it poisons the soil and seeps into water supplies.

SPEWING THAT FUEL WASTES ENERGY

In addition to fuel and energy wasted generating broad-spectrum, high-volume, long-duration NOISE and boosting huge tonnages of dust into the air at two hundred miles per hour, leaf blowers waste fuel and energy spewing the raw unburned two-stroke fuel out through the barrel of the noise bazooka.

The Obvious Conclusion . . .

The clear answer to this pernicious source of air and water pollution is to
exercise your choice and eliminate leaf blowers from California.
